Lincoln County Schools (LCS) is pleased to announce our 2019-2020 annual “Of the Year” winners. In the past years, LCS presented the nominees and winners at a banquet with speeches, fellowship, and celebration.
During this COVID-19 closure period, the Leadership Team of LCS decided to take our ceremony on the road to recognize, celebrate, and surprise our winners at their homes or schools. The team packed up an activity bus and made the trip to visit and recognize our nine category winners.
Superintendent Dr. Lory Morrow remarked “this was a great day and a fantastic way to make this recognition for our best of the best. This on-the-road surprise tour made it possible for our winners to be honored in a unique manner. Many were surprised and saw this unexpected visit as a time of joy and reflection. We are proud of all of our winners and nominees and I am proud to work with each of these employees and volunteers each day to make LCS a fantastic place to work and learn.”
