School Board Votes To Hold Second Graduation
Friday's special meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Education was for the purpose of discussing the Schools' 2020-2021 budget according to the agenda, but the big news from the meeting was that Lincoln County Schools WILL have a traditional graduation July 31st or August 1st--if the pandemic situation permits.

No School Monday
North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper has ordered all public schools in the state to close for at least two weeks, joining other states around the country switching to online learning as the coronavirus spreads. Cooper said he is also issuing an executive order banning all gatherings of more than 100 people.
