During the investigation, it was discovered that the suspect was in possession of several sets of car keys that appeared to belong to a car dealership. Deputies communicated with Newton Police Department Officers and were able to determine that the vehicle tag on the car and the sets of keys were stolen from a business in Newton. Newton Police Department also has pending charges on McDonald as a result.
McDonald was subsequently arrested and taken before a magistrate, where his bond was set at $29,501 secured.
McDonald was charged with: Flee/Elude Arrest With Motor Vehicle; Unauthorized Use Of Motor Vehicle; Fta-Flee/Elude Arrest With Motor Vehicle 2 Agrvtg Fctrs Felony Probation Violation; Fta-Flee/Elude Arrest With Motor Vehicle 2 Agrvtg Fctrs Felony Probation Violation; Non-Support Of Child; Non-Support Of Child.
