When the late Larry Dellinger started the Lincoln Herald in 2012, he knew that the world had changed. He had spent half a century in the newspaper business, but he realized that the future of news reporting would be on the internet. By 2018, internet news had equaled television as a primary source for local news, while print newspaper readership & subscriptions continued to decline.
One reason the Lincoln Herald has grown so rapidly is that you can read all our articles for FREE. We post links to all of them on Facebook & Twitter, and when you sign up for our FREE daily email service, we'll send you an email every day with links to the articles we've posted since the previous day's email.
