An early morning single vehicle accident claimed the life of a young Lawndale man. The Highway Patrol said Nicholas Logan Hall was not wearing his seat belt when his pickup truck ran off the right side of Highway 150 near the Indian Creek bridge between Lincolnton and Crouse.
He overcorrected and the vehicle ran off the road to the left, down an embankment and overturned. Hall was thrown from the vehicle and the truck landed on top of him.
The accident happened just after 6 AM Tuesday (July 21st) and closed the road for nearly two hours.
