Gaston County Police have arrested a 27-year-old Lowell man on charges related to a joint investigation involving Homeland Security. Police say the investigation centered on information received from the Internet Crimes Against Children task force. As a result of the investigation, two alleged victims were identified.
Justin Michael Dale Short, who lives on Stowe Drive in Lowell, was identified as the offender in the investigation. He was charged with two felony counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child. Short was arrested Wednesday (Aug. 12th) and is currenly in the Gaston County Jail with a $100,000 bond pending his first appearance in Gaston County District Court.
