Second Suspect Arrested

Hickory Police arrested a second suspect last week in connection with a July 29th fatal shooting. 25-year-old Craig Anthony Ruff of Newton was arrested by Hickory Police on felony counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property resulting in serious bodily injury and possession of a firearm by felon.

33-year-old Tantae Deon Little was arrested on August 7th in the homicide of Donald Simpson at an apartment complex on 1st Street SW in Hickory. Little was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon; as well as assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle.

Ruff was released on a $100,000 secured bond; he has a court appearance scheduled for Monday (Aug. 17th).
