Detectives from the Gastonia Police Department continue to investigate the March 5th shooting of two teens, one a 19-year-old and the other 17-years-old male that occurred at the intersection of E. Garrison Boulevard and S. Chestnut Street.
Investigators have now released surveillance photographs of the vehicle in which the suspect was traveling and are asking the public for any information that could help identify the suspect.
Shortly after 1 PM on March 5th, officers along with Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the intersection of E. Garrison Boulevard and S. Chestnut Street where a shooting had just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
During the investigation, detectives determined that the victims were traveling in a vehicle when they were shot by an unknown suspect. Investigators later determined that the suspect was traveling in a burgundy colored four-door Chevrolet at the time of the shooting.
