A young Lincolnton woman was arrested by Maiden Police Tuesday (April 5th) after she failed to stop for police late Monday night. Madison Dare Winslow of River Meadows Court was scheduled for a first appearance in court later in the day after she was charged with trafficking opium or heroin. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to stop for a blue light and siren.
A Maiden Police officer attempted to make a traffic stop on South Main Ave in Maiden for a headlight violation. The suspect vehicle, operated by Winslow failed to stop for the blue lights and siren and continued onto E. Holly Street where Maiden Police officers were able to overtake the vehicle and stop it.
