A Taylorsville man was assaulted and robbed after meeting a man at the Lincoln County Walking Trail in the 2600 block of Laboratory Road, Lincolnton today. The suspect goes by the profile name of “Ethan” on the dating website where the two men met.

Narcotics Unit Seizes Record Amount Of Cocaine
A traffic stop has led to the seizure of the largest ever amount of cocaine in Lincoln County. Narcotics Investigators and Baker District deputies stopped a vehicle on the Gastonia Highway. A search turned up cocaine weighing 117 pounds. The street value of the cocaine was estimated at $6.4 million.
