Arrested was John Wayne Goins and he was transported to the magistrate’s office. Brian David Arnold is still wanted – upon being transported to the hospital in Gastonia he jumped from the ambulance near Dallas, N.C. and fled on foot.

Catawba County Confirms 11th Case Of Rabies
On October 6, Catawba County Animal Services responded to a call from a Catawba resident whose dog came into contact with a skunk. The skunk was sent to the North Carolina Public Health Laboratory in Raleigh, which notified Animal Services October 9 that the skunk tested positive for rabies.
