LINCOLNTON, N.C. - The Lincolnton High School Drama Club will present its annual Dessert Mystery Theatre at the James W. Warren Citizen’s Center at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 30.
Because of the need to keep it a “true who done it,” the title of the play will not be released so people cannot look up spoilers. Dessert cakes will be served, and the audience gets to vote on who they think the murderer in the play is.
The cast list includes Johnny Crews, Charlie Robinette, Preston Smith, Brandon Tellez, Lydia Humphries, Ashley Logan, Rebecca Stover, Hannah Gilroy and Denisse Paula-Soto.
“The students enjoy the productions,” said Shane Stephens, choir and drama director at LHS. “It has become a tradition for our program, and it is one of our most productive fundraisers.”
Fundraising goes toward the spring musical, which is usually announced after the murderer is revealed.
Tickets will be available at the door for $10.
The James W. Warren Citizens Center is located at 115 West Main Street in Lincolnton, NC.
