Iron Station Man Charged In Stabbing Incident

LINCOLNTON, NC – An Iron Station man has been charged in connection with a stabbing incident that left a woman injured.
Detective Justin Link charged Chaz Tylor Roark, 24, of Mutual Way, Iron Station, NC with one felony count of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury
Deputies were dispatched to the 2900 block of Brady Hoffman Road, Lincolnton, NC in an assault call where a woman was bleeding from wounds in her leg and side. The victim, Amanda Brooke Walker, 24, told deputies that she was in a fight with another female when she was allegedly stabbed by Roark. Roark left the scene but his vehicle was pulled over in a traffic stop a short time later.
Roark was taken into custody and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $30,000 secured bond. Walker was transported by Lincoln County EMS to Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia where she was treated for her injuries.
