Mr. Walter told officers he contacted Malinda Bolen numerous times to get her to bring the vehicle back but was unsuccessful. Detective K. Paris then obtained felony warrants on Bolen charging her with larceny and possession of stolen goods.
On November 5, 2017 the vehicle was recovered at Ms. Bolen’s parents’ home on Lynch Street, Lincolnton, N.C. She was taken into custody later that night by Lincolnton Police following a vehicle chase.
Bolen, 22, of King Wilkinson Road, Denver, N.C. was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center on the felony warrants and a number of charges filed by Lincolnton Police. She is under a $35,000 secured bond.
