1/9/2019 9:28:00 AM Teen Accused Of Using Social Media To Solicit Sex

A 19-year-old Stanley man was arrested Tuesday (Jan. 8th) on charges of disseminating obscenity and using a social website to commit a sex offense, both felonies, as well as a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Jeffrey Wayne Clark, Jr. is accused of using Instagram to send a smartphone message to a 13-year-old girl soliciting her for sex. He also sent the girl a picture of his privates according to the arrest warrant.
Clark was booked into the Gaston County Jail on Tuesday under $100,000 bond. He was scheduled for a first court appearance Wednesday afternoon.
