NC Department Of Labor Safety Awards

Workplace safety is important--not only because employees deserve a safe place to work, but because lost time due to injuries and the potential of workers' comp claims are costly to employers.  The North Carolina Department of Labor holds an annual safety awards banquet in Lincolnton to recognize area employers for their efforts toward a safer workplace.  The 2019 banquet was held March 19th.  Labor Commissioner Cherie Berry was on hand for the presentation of this year's awards. She commented on the employers who received them "Their actions help make North Carolina workplaces some of the safest in the country and are deserving of recognition.”
