In 2016, Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County became the first Habitat affiliate to introduce a high school campus chapter in the Carolinas. Today, we are proud to have active groups at East Lincoln and North Lincoln High Schools. These young people are engaged in the mission of Habitat, participate in meaningful volunteer work, and serve as extensions of the affiliate. Each HS Habitat Campus Chapter has four functions: service, advocacy, fundraising, and education.
The Timken Company has proven it cares for the well-being of Lincoln County residents, and as such, will be the premiere sponsor for our 2019 Community Build with our HS Habitat Campus Chapters leading the charge! Along with the Timken Foundation, the Levine Foundation, Publix Super Markets Charities, and Lincoln County Board of Realtors have also awarded grants to Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County. We broke ground in April and will host volunteer construction days over the next months. Together, we help families build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.
