Public's Help Needed To Locate Missing Man

From Lincoln County Sheriff's Office (Wednesday evening April 17th): Higgins returned home tonight (April 17, 2019) and is safe. Thanks to everyone who helped get the message out.

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Lincoln County man.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Detective Justin Link is investigating the disappearance of Riley Ray Higgins, 32, of North Street, Lincolnton, NC. Higgins was last seen by his fiancée around 7:30 a.m. on April 15, 2019 as she was leaving for work. Higgins left his cell phone at the residence and did not report for work at a business on Highway 150 west of Lincolnton, NC.

Higgins is described as a white male, 6 feet – 1-inch-tall and weighing around 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Higgins may be driving his purple in color 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with North Carolina license plate number of FJR-2862.

Anyone with information of Higgins whereabouts is asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 704-732-9050, the Lincoln County Communications Center at 704-735-8202 or the Lincolnton/Lincoln County CrimeStoppers at 704-736-8909.
