LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Just a reminder that with the much needed rain arriving in Lincoln County three schools have had to change plans for their graduation ceremonies.

Lincolnton High School – Their ceremony was already scheduled from the beginning to be indoors for Saturday, June 8 at 11 a.m., by ticket only.

East Lincoln High School – Graduation is this afternoon at 5 p.m. by ticket only (beginning at 4 p.m.) They will utilize Facebook Live for viewing of the ceremony if the weather doesn’t impede their internet connectivity.

North Lincoln High School – Tonight at 7 p.m. in the main gym by ticket only (must arrive prior to 7 p.m. as no one will be admitted after then). Those without tickets will be designated to other viewing areas until maximum capacity is met. The graduates will process through these areas before entering the main gym for the ceremony. Front doors will open at 6 p.m. for all guests.

West Lincoln High School – Saturday, June 8 at 8 a.m. in the new gym by ticket only. Guests are welcome to view the ceremony via satellite in the original gym at West Lincoln where the seniors will walk through before the ceremony.
