LINCOLNTON, N.C. - Lincoln County Sheriff's detectives are asking for public's help in locating a missing 78-year-old man.
Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Kermit Perkins, 78, of 3656 Saunders Street, Lincolnton, NC. He was last seen at 2:30 p.m. today, October 16, 2019.
Perkins was driving a 2005 Dodge Dakota, gray in color with North Carolina license plate DMX7071. He was pulling a boat trailer with a bass boat on it with boat registration of CL49560.
He was taking the boat to Catawba County to have it serviced and he was supposed to have returned home afterwards.
Perkins is described as a white male, 5 feet-9 inches tall and weighing around 170 pounds. He has blue eyes and short gray hair. He was wearing khaki shorts, a burgundy striped shirt, beige crocs and a blue hat. He has been entered NCIC as missing.
