Black is also charged in connection with a break-in on or about September 23, 2019 to a residence in the 1600 block of Startown Road, Lincolnton, NC. Entry to the house under renovation was made by prying open a back door. Stolen in the break-in were power tools, hand tools, a pressure washer and other items. Value of the stolen goods was placed at $5,600.
Black was charged with possession of a vehicle stolen from an auto repair shop on the Maiden Highway in Lincolnton, NC.
Black is charged by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office with two felony counts of breaking and entering, two felony counts of larceny after breaking and entering, felony possession of a motor vehicle, two counts of possession of stolen property, one count of misdemeanor larceny, and one count of misdemeanor possession of stolen property. He is also facing charges filed by the Lincolnton Police Department. Bond for Black is set at $107,500 secured.
The investigation is continuing.
