An Alabama couple whose truck with two dogs inside was taken while the couple were at the Lincolnton Chick-fil-A Monday October 14th says one of the dogs has been found but the other--and the truck--remain missing.

Scott and Cindy Garrett, who live in Roanoke, Alabama, have been in our area while working. About 5:30 that Monday, they decided to stop at Chick-fil-A to get some food and go to the restroom. It was still fairly warm that afternoon, so they left their GMC Sierra running with the dogs inside. When they came back out about five minutes later, the truck was gone.

One of the two dogs was later found, but the other, a mixed breed dark brown (almost black) dog similar to a Labrador retriever, is still missing.

The couple is offering a reward of up to $1,000.

The stolen truck is a white 2017 GMC Sierra. Anyone with information about the stolen vehicle or the other dog should contact the Lincolnton Police Department.
