First Of Ten Indicted By Grand Jury Arrested

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – The first of ten people indicted by the Lincoln County Grand Jury on October 28, 2019 on drug charges has been arrested.
Lisa Walker Leonhardt, 54, of 7700 block of Ed Willis Road, Vale, NC was arrested by Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies on October 29, 2019 at her residence. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance Schedule II, possession of drug paraphernalia, and four counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver. The drug buys were made between April and June 2019.
Leonhardt was taken before a Lincoln County magistrate and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $58,000 secured bond. The first court appearance is scheduled for November 4, 2019.
The Lincoln County Grand Jury handed down drug indictments on ten people at their October 28, 2019 session.
