Unlike most countries, Sweden chose not to issue any stay at home restrictions and did not close any businesses, etc.   We offer their figures purely as a possible comparison to the US and other countries who did.  Their number of cases and deaths per million are both higher than their Nordic neighbors, but still less than many other European countries, although geography may have played a more important role than their decisions related to the virus.

13,822 confirmed cases
1,511 deaths
550 recovered
11,761 active cases
1,054 in serious or critical condition
1,369 cases per million population
150 deaths per million population

US 118
Belgium 471
Spain 441
Italy 384
France 296
UK 228
Germany 54
Canada 39
