Lincoln County Senior Center Closed Through Wednesday
The old site on Academy Street will be closed through Wednesday. The new site, at 612 Center Drive in Lincolnton, will open with very limited class schedules on Thursday and Friday. Normal activities will resume on Monday, Sept. 16.  A Grand Opening and Open House will be held on Friday, Sept. 27.

City Approves Up-Scale Restaurant Incentives
The City Council took a big step to lure upscale restaurants to the downtown area. Called the Targeted Incentive Program, the funding would be in the form of a forgivable loan. The recipients of this loan would have to meet some very strict conditions.
