Sixteen Indicted In Methamphetamine, Cocaine & Marijuana Conspiracy
United States Attorney Andrew Murray announced today (Sept. 13) that 16 individuals are facing federal drug conspiracy charges for their involvement in a drug distribution ring.  They are from Texas, Tennessee, and in North Carolina (Conover, Hickory, Lincolnton, New London, Newton and Taylorsville).

Hurricane Florence Update
It appears almost certain now that Hurricane Florence will make landfall early Friday morning near the North Carolina-South Carolina line.  The storm has weakened to a category 2 with maximum sustained winds of 105 mph but it's still considered very dangerous.
