Updated List of Cancellations/Postponements
A statewide 'stay at home' order went into effect at 5 PM Monday (March 30th).  People are asked to stay at home unless their jobs are considered essential; they are allowed to go to the grocery store, doctors' offices, laundromat, and some other locations if absolutely necessary. We continue to update the list of cancellations/postponements as new ones are received.

COVID-19 Update (March 31st)
As the COVID-19 virus continues to spread, a 'stay at home' order for all of North Carolina went into effect at 5 PM Monday (March 30th).  Residents are asked to stay at home except for absolutely necessary trips to the doctor or pharmacy, to buy groceries, or for other absolutely essential outings.  Those whose jobs are considered essential are allowed to go to work.

COVID-19 Continues To Spread
UPDATED WEDNESDAY EVENING (MAR. 25th) WITH LATEST INFORMATION:
There are now at least three confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Catawba County, five in Gaston, and one in Lincoln.  Cleveland County has now recorded two cases.  Mecklenburg County, which now has over 170 confirmed cases, issued a 'stay at home' proclamation effective Thursday.  Here's the latest from area health departments.
