Holiday Basketball Tournaments

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Three Holiday Basketball Tournaments begin Thursday, December 27. The Peoples Bank Holiday Clash at North Lincoln High School, the East Lincoln Winter Jam at East Lincoln High School and the Bud Black/Dennis Tate Holiday Classic at Cherryville High School.

PEOPLES BANK HOLIDAY CLASH

The Peoples Bank Holiday Clash teams are: North Lincoln, West Lincoln, Lincolnton, Bandys, Stuart Cramer, Highland Tech and East Gaston. Bandys boys and girls received first-round byes for the tournament. Games for both boys and girls will occur during the afternoon with the Lady Rebels of West Lincoln starting the tournament at 11 a.m. on Thursday against Highland Tech.  The boys teams from West Lincoln and Highland Tech will play at 12:30 p.m. Games will alternate between boys and girls games the rest of the afternoon. North Lincoln boys will play East Gaston at 6:30 p.m.

The schedule for Friday, December 28 will begin at 11 a.m. with the loser’s bracket games followed by semifinal games in the afternoon and evening. The championship games will be Saturday, December 29 beginning at 5 p.m. with the girls and the boys following about 6:30 p.m.
