The South Fork Conference has announced its Track & Field All-Conference selections for 2019. North Lincoln won the boys championship and also took the state 2A championship last week in Greensboro. Bandys claimed the girls conference championship.
Jerry Castro of North Lincoln was named the Coach of the Year in boys track; Jason Barnes of Bandys in girls track.
Jake Soorus, who was tops at the state competition in shot put and discus throw, was named the field event Player of the Year. On the girls side, Olivia Correa of North Lincoln took that honor.
The boys sprinter of the year was Jalen Ward and the distance runner of the year Brian Risse, both from North Lincoln. The girls sprinter of the year was Chioma Asiegbunam of Lake Norman Charter and the distance runner of the year was Angie Allen of North Lincoln.

Discus: Jake Soorus & Landon Beard
Pole Vault: Alex Schmerber
Long Jump: Jake Soorus
Shot Put: Jake Soorus
