Leading scores for the game- NC: Chyna Cornwell 40 and Grace Loftin 24; East Lincoln: Taliyah Thomas 11 and Brianna Tadlock 9. The Lady Blue Devils have lost to the #1 seeded Red Devils twice in conference play.  However, according to MaxPreps stats, the Lady Red Devils only outscored the Lady Blue Devils by about 10 points.  The Lady Red Devils are led by Chyna Cornwell in scoring, rebounds and blocks with Cassidy Geddes leading in assists and steals.  The Lady Blue Devils are led by Cree Bass in scoring, Gracie Arrowwood in steals and assists and Maggie Andrews in blocks.   Although the Red Devils are ahead in scoring, the Blue Devils are ahead in the number of steals and if the Blue Devils can capitalize on those possessions it will be another great game in this conference tournament play.

MEN'S BASKETBALL RE-CAP

East Lincoln vs North Lincoln --- The East Lincoln Mustangs (22-4) defeated the North Lincoln Knights (16-8) with a final score of 71-69 in overtime to advance to the final.  Leading scores for game: EL - Justin Kuthan 23, Jeremiah Jones and Myles Adams both 15 points each; NL - Cole Seagle 21, Jack Carter 20 and Daniel Carter 12.

LKN Charter vs Lincolnton --- The Lake Norman Charter Knights (20-5) defeated the Lincolnton Wolves (11-14) with a final score of 60-53 to advance to the Conference Championship.  Although not reflected in their records this match-up would be an intense and close game. The Knights jumped on top quick with eight unanswered points but Lincolnton's Davis Grooms hit a 3-point shot to put the Wolves on the board.  Connor Williams added by hitting both free throws after a foul.  From there the teams would battle back and forth point for point. LKN Charter lead by four at the end of the first quarter but Lincolnton looked like they would hold the lead going into halftime.  However, LKN Charter grabbed a loose ball with less than 16 seconds on the clock to tie the game.  Lincolnton came out hungry and put up three unanswered goals but then LKN Charter went through a series of shots and tied the game at 34 to close out the third quarter.  In the fourth quarter, LKN found their 3-point groove again and jumped ahead 48-41.  The Wolves called a full time-out and attempted to regroup but every shot they would make would be answered.  Time ran out with the Knights on top 60-53. Leading scorers for the game: LKN Charter - Donovan Atwell 30; Lincolnton - Connor Williams 18, Davis Grooms 16 and Dejarrius Gash 10.

Finals --- The Lake Norman Charter Knights will take on the East Lincoln Mustangs for the conference championship title.  The teams split in conference play.  The Knights won the first meeting by only 5-points and the Mustangs dominated the second meeting winning by 30 points.  MaxPreps preview of the game shows East Lincoln outscoring LKN Charter by almost 7-points.  The Mustangs lead in all stats except steals.  East Lincoln is led by Justin Kuthan in scoring, rebounds and blocks accompanied by Jeremiah Jones in assists and steals.  Lake Norman is led by Jackson Porter in rebounds and blocks, Donovan Atwell in scoring and Cal Reed in assist and steals.
