Post 100 put up five runs in the third inning to break a one-all tie and won the first game of their American Legion baseball playoff series against Lincoln County Post 455 6-2 Friday evening (July 9th). Noah Huss from West Lincoln was the winning pitcher, going four-and-a-third innings. Will Heavner had two hits and an rbi in the win. The Winner of the 3 of 5 series advances to take on the winner of the Mint Hill Post 555 vs. Burke County Post 21 series. Game tow is set for 7 PM Saturday at East Lincoln High School; game three will be Sunday night at Fraley Field in Cherryville.

The North Carolina State Tournament will be at Fraley Field July 28th-August 1st. A Tournament Pass for all games is $50.

The winners from there advance to the Mid-Atlantic Regional scheduled for August 3rd-8th in Asheboro.

The American Legion World Series will be played August 12th through 17th at Keeter Stadium in Shelby.
