Unlike baseball and softball teams, most of the girls soccer teams took Spring Break week off.
East Lincoln's soccer team played Dixon High School from Holly Ridge Friday (April 22nd) and won 3-1. They'll play Croatan, another Coastal team, at 6 PM Saturday. That game will be carried online by the NFHS Network, so subscribers can see it. The Mustangs, who lead the Western Foothills Conference with a 6-0-1 record (10-2-1 overall), return to conference action on Tuesday at St. Stephens. They'll host the Indians on Thursday, then play at home against North Iredell on Friday.
North Lincoln will host Hickory at 5:30 Monday, Foard on Tuesday, then West Iredell on Friday.
Lincolnton leads the Catawba Valley Conference with a 6-1 record. The Wolves will play at Newton-Conover on Tuesday, then at Bandys on Thursday. Bandys is in second place in the league with a 5-1-1 record. Maiden is third at 6-2.
Bandys wll host East Burke Monday, play at East Burke Tuesday, then host LHS on Thursday. Maiden will visit West Lincoln Tuesday, then play at home against West Caldwell Thursday. After hosting Maiden Tuesday, West Lincoln will play at Bunker Hill Friday.
Lincoln Charter will play at Pine Lake Prep Monday at 6 PM; then at Langtree Charter Wednesday and at Christ the King on Thursday.
Cherryville will play at Bessemer City Tuesday, then host Burns on Thursday.
