LINCOLNTON, N.C.––Lincoln County Parks and Recreation is thanking all who helped kick off the senior games.

According to parks and rec spokeswoman Missy Calloway, last week’s big event was a real success, and registration is now open for the 2019 Lincoln County Senior Games. Calloway also thanked parks and rec’s counterparts in Lincoln County Senior Services.

“We had a great time,” she said Monday, “thanks to new and returning participants, great volunteers and hardworking staffers from parks and recreation and senior services! Special thanks to Subway for sponsoring our food, too!”
