After three losses to open the season, the Lincolnton Wolves' bats finally awoke Tuesday as the home team took an 11-1 victory over Newton-Conover.  EJ Manjarres allowed only two hits while striking out five in the win.  Lincolnton was scheduled to play at East Lincoln Friday night.  The Lincolnton softball team won games Tuesday and Wednesday by identical 11-0 scores; they beat Newton-Conover Tuesday and East Lincoln Wednesday.

The Mustangs baseball team beat Lake Norman Charter Tuesday as Josh Stephens went 2 for 4 including a home run and Garrett Michel had three doubles in four at-bats.  

West Lincoln beat North Lincoln 3-0 Tuesday.  The Rebels were scheduled to play at East Burke on Wednesday evening and to host Maiden on Friday. Maiden beat Bandys 5-2 on Tuesday.

The West Lincoln softball team beat North Lincoln 4-3 Tuesday.  They're scheduled to play at Maiden on Friday.

North Lincoln's baseball team lost an 8-inning game at Kings Mountain on Wednesday 2-1, they are scheduled to play at home against Lake Norman Charter on Friday. The North Lincoln softball team will play at home at 5 PM Thursday against Lake Norman Charter.

Cherryville handed Lincoln Charter its first loss of the season, winning 2-1 in eight innings Tuesday.  The Ironmen, now 4-1 on the season, 3-0 in the Southern Piedmont 1A Conference, will host Bessemer City on Thursday evening. The Bessemer City at Cherryville soccer game is also to be played Thursday (5 PM); the Cherryville at Bessemer City softball game was still scheduled for Friday (as of late Wednesday afternoon) although Friday is expected to bring rain.

Lincoln Charter won Wednesday at Highland Tech as John Burns went 3 for 4 including a double and a triple.  The final score was 12-0.  The Eagles are scheduled to play at Thomas Jefferson Academy on Friday.

Lincolnton's girls soccer team played to a scoreless tie on Tuesday at home against Newton-Conover.  They'll play at East Lincoln on Thursday. East Lincoln lost to Lake Norman Charter on Tuesday by a 6-0 score.

The North Lincoln girls won their fourth match without a loss as they beat West Lincoln 6-0 on Tuesday.  They play at Lake Norman Charter on Thursday.  The West Lincoln girls will still be looking for their first win when they play at Maiden on Thursday. 

In tennis, Thursday matches include North Lincoln at Lincolnton and East Lincoln at West Lincoln.  Both are scheduled for 4 PM starts.  East Gaston will be at Cherryville.
