LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Monday, Oct. 21 kicks off "Spirit Week" at LHS and will end on Friday with Homecoming festivities.  Students will spend the week showing their spirit with a different theme each day.

  • Monday is "What do you want to be when you grow up Monday?" Students are encouraged to dress as what they want to be when they grow up.
  • Tuesday is "Grade Color or Pattern War Tuesday" where each grade level has an assigned color and pattern.  Students will dress to see which grade level has the most spirit.
  • On Wednesday students will be "Out of this World" for Cosmic Wednesday and are encouraged to wear their favorite "little green men" attire or dress as a constellation or astronaut.
  • Thursday is "Wacky and Super Tacky Twin Day". They are encouraged to be as wacky, tacky and mismatched as possible.
  • Friday will be "Character and Villain" day and students can dress as their favorite character, superhero or villain.

A homecoming parade will follow school and go down Main Street as it has in past years.

There are also plans to "unveil" the new bell so make sure to make it to the game to support the Wolves, the Homecoming Court and check out the new bell.

See ya Friday! GO WOLVES!
