One might call it a clean sweep.  The West Lincoln girls golf team claimed back-to-pack South Fork Conference championships with a team score of 244 in Tuesday's Conference Championship match at the Glen Oaks Golf Club in Maiden.  The Rebels were led by Conference Individual Champion Laycee Hoffman who shot a 78. Hoffman was named the Player of the Year for the conference.  Named as All-Conference selections in addition to Hoffman were West Lincoln teammmates Reese Coltrane and Leah Matney, East Lincoln's Kyla Callahan and Sophia Laliberte, Camryn Lamp & Sondra Urn of Newton-Conover and Tess Palmer from Lake Norman Charter. Rebels Head  Coach Matt Lytton was selected as the Conference Coach of the Year.  The Rebels will play in the 1A/2A NC Western Regional Championship next Tuesday (May 4th) at Lincoln Country Club.
