Atrium Health Creates COVID-Safe Environment For First Motorsports Race
Atrium Health is working in partnership with Charlotte Motor Speedway to create a COVID-Safe environment for four live competition NASCAR races, beginning Sunday, May 24, with the historic Coca-Cola 600.

High school athletes saw their 2019-2020 school year cut short and many of them who participated in Spring sports didn't get the opportunity this year.  Tug Deason, Stanley Recreation Director, Levi Summey, East Gaston High School senior class president, & Athletic Director Ryan Resendez got help from the Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church to recognize those athletes Friday evening (May 8th).

Mount Holly Historical Society Still Taking Donations
With the ongoing virus-related precautions and restrictions still in place, countless events are being cancelled. One was the annual Gaston Community Foundation Run, a three-mile fundraising event for both walkers and runners, originally scheduled for this past Saturday, April 4. And one contributor to this event has always been the Mount Holly Historical Society.
