The Lincoln Charter boys and girls teams went unbeaten in the Southern Piedmont 1A Conference this season.  They finished off their conquest with victories Friday night in the Conference Tournament.

South Fork Tournament
The East Lincoln Mustangs won the South Fork 2A Conference Basketball Tournament championship Friday night with a 51-49 victory in overtime over Lake Norman Charter.  The Newton-Conover girls won the girls championship with a 62-50 win over Maiden.

South Fork 2A Championship Games Tonight, Feb. 21
The South Fork 2A conference tournament has been an exciting one.  The second round had three close games with one heading into overtime.  And the finals look to be just great games as well tonight, Feb. 21 at the CVCC Tarlton Complex, women's at 7 p.m. and men's to follow.

UPDATE: THE SOUTH FORK CONFERENCE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AS SCHEDULED FRIDAY EVENING AT CVCC IN HICKORY.  THE GIRLS GAME (Newton-Conover vs Maiden) BEGINS AT 7 PM.  THE BOYS GAME (East Lincoln vs Lake Norman Charter) WILL FOLLOW.  ALL-CONFERENCE AND OTHER AWARDS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AFTER THE BOYS GAME.

THE SOUTHERN PIEDMONT CONFERENCE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AS SCHEDULED FRIDAY EVENING AT LINCOLN CHARTER SCHOOL IN DENVER.  THE GIRLS GAME (Lincoln Charter vs Christ the King) WILL BEGIN AT 6 PM.  THE BOYS GAME (Lincoln Charter vs Bessemer City) WILL FOLLOW.
