| Christian Ministry Gears Up For Golf Tourney |
Christian Ministry of Lincoln County is preparing now for its 27th annual benefit golf tournament to be held Aug. 13. A letter about the tournament will be mailed out to ministry supporters on June 13, but anyone can help. Call or email the Ministry for more details.

Cherryville came close. They lost the first game of the NCHSAA 1A state championship series, but came back Saturday afternoon to win game two; and on Saturday night, they lost, but pushed Perquimmans, scoring two runs in the sixth inning and loading the bases in the seventh before falling 6-3.

Lane Bailey and Justin Eggers of Catawba Valley Community College placed 13th out of nearly 200 college teams at the 2022 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing championship in Florence, Alabama, last week.
