LINCOLNTON - This article provides information related to WIC and COVID-19 from the Lincoln County WIC Program.

WIC Clinic Status Update

(English version)
Update: Most WIC clinics are still open. However, some WIC clinics will close temporarily to protect the health of WIC participants and staff. Your local WIC clinic will contact you if they are closing.

Important: If you or anyone in your family have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, please call your WIC office and reschedule your appointment. You may also be able to complete your WIC appointment over the phone. Thank you and be safe.

Última información: la mayoría de las clínicas de WIC todavía está abiertas. Sin embargo, algunas clínicas de WIC cerrarán temporalmente para proteger la salud de sus participantes y personal. Tu clínica local de WIC se comunicará contigo si va a cerrar.

Breastfeeding and COVID-19 Guidance

With various recommendations circulating from medical, public health, and breastfeeding authorities regarding breastfeeding and COVID-19, it can be difficult to navigate which resource is best to use. The National WIC Association recommends following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidance for breastfeeding and COVID-19.

The Lincoln County WIC Program is located at 200 Gamble Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092. For more information call 704-736-8640 or 704-736-8639. Hours of Operation: Mon., Wed., Thurs. 8-5:30; Tues. 8-7; Fri. 8-12:30.
