STANLEY––A new Christian school is set to open in Stanley.
It’s Judah Christian Academy, affiliated with Revival Tabernacle. And it will have an open-house event, Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m., according to the school’s administrator, Melanie Nichols. As Nichols told The Herald on Thursday, the school is located at 299 S. Peterson St. in Stanley. Its mascot is a lion.
“It’s almost time to start our first year,” she said, “and we couldn’t be more excited! We have some important dates coming up to put on your calendars, and we will be adding a supply list for your grades to our Website very soon.”
Be sure to check it out at www.judahchristianacademy.com.
And Nichols continued that the open house would be a time for families to come and learn about the school. Orientation will follow Aug. 27, also at 6:30 p.m.
“This will give students and parents the chance to meet their teachers, ask questions and see the classrooms,” she said. “We will put in place safety measures and ‘social distancing’ at each event so everyone has a safe visit to our campus. We look forward to seeing you all! It’s a great day to be a lion!”
Nichols said the school is now enrolling at all grade levels: K-three through high school seniors. School will be in session five days a week. Limited spots are available.
You might say it’s something to roar about and to broadcast far and wide.
“We are so excited to announce that Judah Christian Academy will have our very own campus radio station,” Nichols revealed. “Students will get to participate in announcements and music. Parents will have access to the station at home so you never have to miss when your student is featured or when special announcements are put out! This is unique to our school. It will be a lot of fun and a great opportunity for students to learn about broadcasting!
“We are continuing to grow,” she added, “and adding new programs all the time to make Judah Christian Academy a place that students enjoy coming to learn!”
