WLHS A.S.P.I.R.E Program Registration Now Open For Fall Session
Registration deadline is Monday, August 6 for the West Lincoln High School A.S.P.I.R.E. Fall Session. A.S.P.I.R.E., (ACT Supplemental Preparation In Rural Education) is a 30-hour training course, with four (4) practice exams, offered by NC Cooperative Extension through NC State University.

It began two decades ago in some parts of the country as a cooperative effort between United Way organizations and Walmart stores. Now the effort to provide school supplies for children whose families might not be able to afford everything they need and for classroom teachers who have too often had to buy supplies themselves has grown to a much larger community effort.
