ALEXIS – Tri-County Animal Rescue WILL be at PetSmart this Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. outside on the sidewalk.  Please come see us.  WE have missed YOU!

Our featured small pet for this week is puppies.  We have five Australian Shepherd / Hound mixed babies.   They are 10-weeks-old and full of puppy energy.  We have four boys and one girl.  These will be bigger pups as adults.  They weigh about 12 pounds now.  They have had lots of loving so they will fit in with any household.  They have been around older dogs and play well with them.  They have short hair and will only need a bath and brushing.  These pups play hard outside in the yard during the day but love inside snuggle time after dark. These pups have had several vaccines, been spayed/neutered and have been micro-chipped.

Our featured BIG DOG pet for this week is this beautiful Great Pyrenees girl named Koda.  She is 3-years-old and weighs 80 pounds.  Koda is the biggest baby I have ever fostered.  She is just a lover.  If you have ever wanted an extra-large dog then this is the girl for you.  She has longer hair and will need grooming.  Brushing often is a MUST.  Koda is social with other pets and plays well.  She will go to the door when she needs to go out and potty.  Koda is an indoor dog and will not live outside…she asked me to mention that!  A fenced yard would be ideal but she does love long walks.  Koda is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm negative an is micro-chipped.

Please stop in to visit the pets this weekend at PetSmart in Gastonia because the dogs and cats love the attention.  They will be looking for you so come on out for some family fun.  We also have other pets available for adoption at the Gastonia PetSmart located at 3698 East Franklin Boulevard.  Tri-County Animal Rescue will be available Saturday noon to 3 p.m.  Don’t forget!
