THURSDAY NOVEMBER 1st

ELHS BAND FISH FRY
The East Lincoln High School Band will hold a Chicken and Fish Fry Fundraiser Thursday 4:30 - 7 PM at East Lincoln High School on Highway 73. Tickets are $8.50 at the door. For more information visit the East Lincoln Band Facebook page. 

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 2nd

PAUL RHYNE ART COMPETITION RECEPTION
The Arts Council of Lincoln County will hold a reception and present awards in the annual Paul Rhyne Art Competition this Friday 6 - 8 PM at the Lincoln Cultural Center, 403 E. Main St. in Lincolnton. The public is invited to view the exhibit in the galleries through the end of the month during regular Cultural Center hours. 

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3rd

FOOD GIVE-A-WAY
Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, 261 Cedar Grove Church Road, will host a food give-a-way on behalf of Christian Ministry of Lincoln County and the Second Harvest Food Bank, Saturday beginning at 8 AM. SNAP recipients, and Christian Ministry clients are eligible to receive food. A variety of food items will be available.

LOVE MEMORIAL CRAFT FAIR
Love Memorial Elementary School, on Love Memorial School Road just off the Cherryville Highway, will will hold a Craft Fair with over 40 vendors Saturday 9 - 3.

NAACP MEETING
The Lincoln County NAACP will hold its regular monthly meeting Saturday at 10 AM at Providence Missionary Baptist Church on E. Pine St. in Lincolnton.

CAROLINA POTTERY FESTIVAL
The Cleveland County Arts Council will hold its 19th annual Carolina Pottery Festival this Saturday 10 AM - 4 PM at the LeGrand Center, 1800 E. Marion St. (US74-business) in Shelby. Admission is $5.

AIRPORT FLY-IN
The Lincolnton-Lincoln County Airport will have a Fly-In and Open House this Saturday 11 - 3.

AMY'S CLOSET SHOW & SALE
Amy's Closet will have a Winter Fashion Show & Sale this Saturday at 11 AM at Denver United Methodist Church. Included are a luncheon, silent auction, raffle, and Fall and Christmas Craft Sale. Tickets can be purchased at either Amy's Closet location--E. Water St. in Lincolnton or Highway 16-Business in Denver--or at the door for $15. All proceeds benefit the Lincoln County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
