LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Most of the roads around the Lincoln County area are still wet and many of the backroads are still snow covered. Even though it is safely above freezing if you venture out please allow extra time and drive with caution.

Bill Ward, sent us some pictures from the Mount Holly and Stanley area that he took yesterday as the roads were beginning to be scrapped….. you can send us your pictures too! Just email them to

But the best word of caution we can give you is to enjoy the snow but be safe and wait for the next round of rain or snow we may or may not get this next weekend!
