While the parades may have ended, there are still many Christmas season events in the week ahead.
On Monday evening (Dec. 17th) at 7 o'clock, the Lincolnton High School Chorus will perform its Christmas Concert at Emmanuel Lutheran Church on S. Academy St. Admission is free.
Tuesday at 7 PM, the North Lincoln Band and Chorus will present their Christmas concert at North Lincoln High School. Admission is free.
If you haven't seen them already this year, the lights at McAdenville will continue to glow nightly thru December 26th from 5:30 - 9:30 weeknights and 5:30 - 11 PM Saturdays and Sundays.
If you still have gifts to buy for Christmas, the stores will no doubt be crowded in the week ahead. Please don't forget the less fortunate while buying gifts for friends and family. We urge you to support charities, especially those like Lincoln County Christian Ministry, the East Lincoln Christian Ministry, and Hesed House.
Our thanks again to all those who brought us special events during the holiday season.

We also post links to all our articles on Facebook and Twitter; and when you sign up for our FREE email service, we'll send you an email every day with links to our articles posted since the previous day's email. That way, you won't miss the latest news, obituaries, sports and other items of interest for Lincoln, Gaston, Catawba and Cleveland counties.
