No doubt about it--December 2018 was a "December to remember." For the second year in a row, we had a snow before Christmas, and otherwise, the weatherman gave Noah a challenge with rain, rain and more rain. But wait--it's not over yet!
December may have come and gone and Christmas 2018, but there's still one Christmas-related event yet to happen.
While the East Lincoln Chorus and Theatre program got to present most of their scheduled performances of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" (the December 9th performance was cancelled because of snow), they didn't get to perform their scheduled "Sounds of the Season" holiday concert.
It was rescheduled for this Thursday evening at 6:30 in the Black Box Theatre at East Lincoln High School. So if you didn't quite get your fill of Christmas during the Holiday season, you've got an opportunity to enjoy a wonderful concert that may hold you until next December.
Admission is free, but donations to the chorus and theatre program are always welcomed and appreciated.
So come on down and enjoy! After all, Charlie Brown, that's what Christmas is all about.
East Lincoln High School is located at 6471 NC-73, Denver, NC 28037.
