Crouse UMC Spring Craft Fair For Missions, Saturday, April 6 --- Crouse United Methodist Church, 3311 Crouse School Road, Crouse, NC 28033 will host a Spring Craft Fair for Missions on Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Numerous vendors, food (breakfast biscuits, hot dogs, baked items) and more! Shady Grove Baptist Spring Craft Fair, Saturday, April 6 --- We are having a Spring Craft Fair on Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. to benefit our Youth for Summer Camp.  Great variety of crafters and vendors. Leonard’s Fork Baptist Hot Dog & Bake Sale, Saturday, April 6 --- Join us for a Hot Dog and Bake Sale on Saturday, April 6 from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Saine Ace Hardware parking lot, 127 Spake Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092. All proceeds benefit our Kenya Mission Trip.

Lowesville Gospel Concerts, Cockman Family Bluegrass, Saturday, April 6 --- The Fabulous Cockman Family Bluegrass will be in concert on Saturday, April 6 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.  at Living Word Ministries, 1062 Hwy 16 South in Lowesville/Stanley. We are excited to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Cockman, all the children and all the grandchildren, this will be fun! The concert will be no cost, a freewill offering only will be received. LTG Beauty & The Beast Auditions, April 7-8 --- Disney's Classic Beauty and The Beast comes to life at the Lincoln Theatre Guild Summer 2019.  But We cannot do it without you.  Please BE OUR GUEST and join us for Auditions April 7 and 8 at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Cultural Center, 403 E. Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092.   Ages for this production will be 10-25.   Please prepare a monologue and a song for your Audition.   Directed by H. Michael Wirth the production dates will be August 1-4 and 8-10.

Mt. Zion Baptist Revival, April 7-10 --- Evangelist John O’Cain will be the guest for the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Revival April 7-10. Everyone is invited to come and hear his powerful preaching and special music. Schedule is April 7 (10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., music by DayStar), April 8 (7 p.m., music by Chris and Tammy Kiser), April 9 (7 p.m., music by FBC Men’s Quartet), and April 10 (5:30 p.m. covered dish dinner, 7 p.m. revival service, music by Amber, Amy and Becky). Western Lincoln County Lenten Services April 7 --- Sunday Evening Services for Lent will be held with community fellowship afterward. Service begins at 6 p.m. on April 7 at Bethphage Lutheran with Rev. Jim Sanders of Crouse-Pleasant Grove United Methodist Churches preaching. LCHD Growing Healthy Families, Tuesday, April 9 --- Please join us for our Growing Healthy Families Event.  The event is FREE to the public! We will offer FREE Blood Pressure Checks and Iron Level Screenings, fun family activities, including a Kids Dance Zone and an Indoor Obstacle Course that is suitable for children and adults of all ages, FREE book giveaway for children ages 0-5 years, Car Seat Education, sample tasty treats prepared in our Demonstration Kitchen, Promotional giveaways, and Much More! The event will be held at the Lincoln County Health Department, 200 Gamble Dr., Lincolnton, NC 28092 on Tuesday, April 9 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

First UMC Lincolnton Community Lenten Services, April 10 --- The Wednesday Community Lenten Services continue at First United Methodist Church, 201 E. Main St. in Lincolnton on April 10 with Rev. Mike Collins of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Lunch is served at noon with the worship service at 12:30.

3-D Printing Demo At Jonas Library, Thursday, April 11 --- Learn about 3-D printing, see a printer in action and paint an Easter Egg on Thursday, April 11 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Charles H. Jonas Library, 306 W. Main St., Lincolnton, NC 28092

LHS Presents Sister Act the Musical, April 12-14 --- The Lincolnton High School Drama Club will present Sister Act the Musical April 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. and on April 14 at 3 p.m. at the Lincoln Cultural Center, 403 E. Cherryville Cherry Blossom Festival, Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 --- Come enjoy the annual Cherry Blossom Festival in downtown Cherryville April 12-13.  The festival on Friday, April 12 will be held from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. with games, inflatables, face painting, trains rides, arts and crafts, and lots of food. Dino Roar will be in the Chamber parking lot at 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m. The Miss Cherry Blossom Pageant gets underway at the Community Building with registration at 5 p.m. The Cherry Blossom 5k Race starts at 6 p.m. Bring a chair and your dancing shoes for DJ Johnny B at 6 p.m. and The Holiday Band from 7-10 p.m. The schedule for Saturday, April 13 is from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. with a lot of the same activities plus an entertainment stage, eating contests (cherry pie, pizza and lottaburger), an antique car and truck show, racing pigs (ducks and goats). Marching Rebels Spring Fling Car Show, Saturday, April 13 --- The 2nd Annual Marching Rebels Spring Fling Car Show will be held Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.  Hosted by the West Lincoln Band Boosters Association the event will be held at West Lincoln High School, 172 Shoal Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28092. This is a free community event featuring cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Prize trophies will be given for the top vehicles as well as a Directors Choice Winner. Pre-Registration $15. Show entries on the day of the event are $20. Vendor spots are available for $25. Door Prizes, 50/50 Raffle! Downtown Dairy Treats Ice Cream Bus! Frank and Charlie’s Good Eats Food Truck! McKendree UMC Monthly Luncheon, Sunday, April 14 --- Due to Easter, our monthly luncheon will be held Sunday, April 14 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Entrees are meatloaf and chicken pot pie, served with vegetables, homemade biscuits, desserts, and drink. A suggested donation of $8 supports missions of the church. Please join us for Worship and Sunday School too! Take-outs available.
