Lincoln County Farmers Markets Open April 6

LINCOLNTON, N.C. - The Lincoln County Farmers Markets will open the 2019 season on Saturday April 6 in Denver and Lincolnton. 

The Denver Market is located at Rescue Squad Park at 7835 Galway Lane in Denver, just off Hwy 16 across from the Lincoln Charter School Denver Campus. 

The Downtown Lincolnton Market is located at 225 West Water Street in Lincolnton two blocks west of the James W. Warren Citizen Center. 

Both the Denver and Downtown Lincolnton markets are open Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 12 noon starting on April 6 and ending November 23. 

On opening day there will be activities for kids as well as a visit from our Lincoln County Master Gardeners providing early garden and lawn tips. Local farmers markets provide access to fresh local produce, meats, baked goods, plants as well as local handmade soaps, pottery and other crafts. 

The Market at DSS will open starting on Tuesday April 9.  The Market at DSS is located on Main Street in the Department of Social Services parking lot and is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. until 12 noon.
