LINCOLNTON, N.C. - With a little advance planning, field day can be as special and as much fun as each school plans to make it, along with the help of some great sponsors.
Principal Scott Carpenter at S. Ray Lowder in Lincolnton wanted to give thanks to First Baptist Church of Lincolnton and Atrium Health-Lincoln for being a big part of Lowder’s Field Day this year. They jumped in to help in many ways so the students could let loose and have fun with all their friends.
The day consisted of a variety of events, games and competitions that any age level could enjoy. It’s amazing how something simple can be so much fun and the element of surprise was so exciting, especially for the kids.
Our photographer, Jay Dellinger, followed Denise Wright’s Pre-K class around as they participated their first field day with lots of activities with their favorite being – all the water games! A few buckets of water, some sponges, water balloons, wading pools and lots of kids made for an exciting day!
